Words can't express how darn cute Mitchell was tonight in his panda costume! We were even told by one of the houses he went to that it was their favorite costume of the night!

Jack-O-Lantern
Daddy and Mitchell did their annual pumpkin carving tonight-well, most of the carving action was done by BDK-Mitchell lost interest when he felt the slimy pumpkin innards. Oh well...one of these days he'll love slimy things way too much for my liking! But Daddy sure does carve a good pumpkin!

Pile of Leaves
Today was Mitchell's first time jumping in a pile of leaves. I'm amazed that a kid automatically has the instinct to know what to do with a pile of leaves...after all, it's not like we taught him, and now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think he's actually been around other children while they have been doing it. He eventually decided that the pile of leaves was his "panda nest" with him being the baby panda of course. See, I told you, he's obsessed with being a panda. I can't wait until he sees his panda costume later this week! Enjoy...

A Fall Ride
Sunday morning we were up bright and early to go to church, then decided to take a ride up on the mountain at the bain while the leaves were still colorful. It was too beautiful not to share...
Mitchell's newest trick...standing on the console and poking his head out the sunroof-he loves it!

Quote of the Day
Daddy just said that he's "super gassy" to which Mitchell replied, "you're not super gassy, you're George Koons!"
p.s. sorry to throw you under the bus with your gasiness, Daddy!

Fall Festival in McConnellsburg
One of the financial advisors for Ed Jones had a fall festival at his farm today in McConnellsburg, PA. It was about a 3 hour drive for us, but was well worth it as Mitchell had an amazing time...it was a full-on farm experience and Mitchell didn't miss a beat-we had to drag him away kicking and screaming!
Our annual tractor wheel picture of Mitchell...yay!
Does anyone else love it as much as me how cute a little guy looks in his jeans? Soooo cute!!
We sent Bubba packing all by himself on the hayride (nail biting, insert here...) and he did great! Thanks to some good babysitting from a new friend and from our host Todd, who has 3 young boys and another on the way, Daddy convinced me he would be in good hands! And he was!
Once the hayride was over the dancing was ON!! The band had just started and Mitchell ran into the barn to commence his dancing moves! He went through (literally) every little girl that he could catch, dancing with each one of them (and he WORE them down-some of them were literally turning him away, which was not an easy rejection to see in mama's eyes!). And when he was done with the little girls, no joke, he started grabbing the adult women for dancing! Must take after his daddy's side! It was a hoot!
The music was fantastic...the band was so much fun and very well put together-the lyrics were great!
And then we visited the cows...above...the "children" (calves) were in separate pastures from the "adults" (heffers)-you should have seen how they ran crazy following eachother in parallel pastures yelling back and forth...the mamas knew their babies were across the road and were NOT happy about it!
I have so many other pics of farm antics but won't bore everyone with them...
Such a nice day for Bubba-he had a blast!!
