Parking Lots
Mitchell is obsessed with building parking lots. He won't touch all the Matchbox garages, parking lots, or other darned roadside ammenity buildings that we bought him. He won't touch the awesome parking lot/road system that I made him from a vinyl black tablecloth and cool colored masking tapes. Nope, he likes to build parking lots from other things, such as area rugs, or our pillows on our king size bed. And watch out if you're even thinking about sitting on the bed once the parking lot has been prepared. No way Jose.
So typically, every day, this is what I have to contend with when it comes time to getting dinner ready for everyone:

*notice how the rug has been pushed up to create the ridges for the different parking zones, apparently.
*stay tuned for a pic of the bed*
Super Hero Capery
We had a beautful fall, slightly windy day. The perfect day to put on a cape and let it fly in the wind...

Mummers Parade and a Silly Curl
Today we took Mitchell to the annual Mummers Day Parade in South Williamsport. He did really well given that it was 3 hours during the middle of the afternoon when he sometimes still likes to take a nap. Then again, all the sugar kept him buzzing right along for quite a while!
of course the above and below photos were Mitchell's faves...he squealed and screamed when he saw them!
Mitchell kept asking where the deer's legs were after he was done petting it. The driver of the truck was jiggling the deer just enough so that it looked real to the kids.
The two most handsome men I've ever seen...sorry Beej, you've been knocked to 3rd.
And nothing like topping a long cool fall day off with a warm bath and quite a comical curl from head dipping.
