Although Mitchell is a bit too young to understand Memorial Day and the meaning of it, I did try to explain it to him. I'm always trying to teach him how to be thankful and show gratitude, so we found this site called www.letssaythanks.com which allows you to send a postcard to our military personnel. We made one together and sent it. I thought I would share with everyone because I don't think they could ever get enough messages of gratitude or thankfulness.
Please send one with your kids, or just from yourself!

Maxton's 2nd birthday
Today was Maxton's (Mitchell's only boy cousin) birthday party. I am particularly partial to Maxton because he's so beautiful and has such an old-world-spirit...he's very chill and so very sweet-a gentle soul. He has the very best combination of his parents-who waited for him so long-and what a blessing he has been. Our sweet Maxton...
Thank you Elmo (but not really that much...for being the host for the party)...because the true hosts were mommy and daddy williamson-what a blessing the two of them are to host Maxton into this wonderful world! Matt and Michele-you rock it!!
