After the two rides we meandered over towards the animals only to discover they had already gone home. Well, that is with the exception of a few turkeys and rabbits.
Oh look, a clown.
That's right. Daddy hates clowns. And apparently Mitchell does too because he won't look at the clown and practially becomes hysterical by the time the red balloon dog is handed off.
Ironically enough it looks like it was sunny in the clown picture. I don't think it was, but if there was a fleeting moment of sunshine it quickly ended and skies became more blustery and it started to rain. Farmers were literally running out of that place with goats in their arms.
So we packed it up and headed home, the skies of Lancaster literally black behind us!
Makin' teeth, especially molars, must be excruciating. With the removal of my wisdom teeth freshly in my mind, my heart just aches for my poor little man and these 2nd molars. He's rarely out of sorts, but these last several teeth have been tough on him. So unfortunately we didn't get to do a lot more for the weekend and PopPop's big visit. We tried going to the lake twice but Mitchell didn't want to do that. There was a brief couple of hours on Sunday where he hung out with the men while they were stacking wood.
Sorry PopPop, that I wasn't feeling well for your visit. But we're glad that you came.
