Painted Fence, Check...New Chapter, Yes.

As I was painting my fence today I was reflecting on so many things AND  re-discovering so many things about this place, our first home, that I love.  And what I came to realize is there is a lot.  I am so blessed.  I am blessed by all the things around me-the sheep calls, the humming noise of the farmer's tractor, the many different birds calling, the buzz of airplane noises above as the latest scouts take their lessons, the sight of huge black-winged buzzards lurking above, the screaming honks of just two geese...just two, yelling their way through the sky (and Mitchell squealing with delight upon hearing and seeing them so closely)...the howl of the winds, the laughter of all the kids as they are welcomed home by Mitchell and they welcome him home just the same with their cries of happiness to see him...it is all just GOOD.  It is wonderful to have good neighbors and I will miss all of them.  And so it comes that one appreciates their surroundings even more.   Which of course in return lends the question..."am I doing the right thing by leaving this home?"  And yes, life must go on.  No matter what.  Changes are always a leap, are they not?  If they weren't, then why fear them?  And in my experience thus far, change has been good.  So, once again, I will go with the flow.  But while I have the time, I will appreciate what I have surrounding me thus far...and that is this:

Amazing...what i have, and what i've learned to live for.  I'm so thankful.
